Vantaa’s Future Survey 2017

The dataset includes residents’ views on the future of the City of Vantaa. The data was compiled through an online survey in spring 2017. The survey data covers residents’ wishes for the future and their views on the desirability of different future phenomena. The topics of the survey are housing, work, mobility, the environment, services, leisure and society.

The age variables in the numerical data have been grouped afterwards. The current place of residence of Vantaa residents has been corrected to correspond to the major district in cases where the answer has been provided verbally with the option “muu, mikä” (other, please specify). Open responses have been placed in a separate file without any background information, blank rows have been deleted, and the order of the rows has been mixed. In addition, some of the open responses have been deleted due to inappropriate language.
