TrafficSense

TrafficSense is a service and research platform developed at Aalto University. It learns regular door‐to‐door routes and assists in carrying out these trips by proactively relaying relevant public transport and road traffic disruption information in real-time. The relative use of different means of transport is used to create a personal energy certificate, which encourages environment-friendly mobility and which can be shared in e.g. social media. For privacy reasons the data collected by the service is not open, but own data can be downloaded from the accompanying web service.
