The data contains information on usage-based greenhouse gas emissions in the Helsinki metropolitan area and separately in the cities of the Helsinki metropolitan area by sector (district heating, oil heating, electric heating, consumer electricity, transport, industry and machinery, waste treatment, agriculture), and broken down into emissions from housing, services, industry and agriculture in 1990 and 2000–2023.
In addition to total emissions, the results are presented per capita.
