City of Helsinki grants

The City of Helsinki awards annual grants to non-profit activities that support the City's activities and objectives. Various types of grants are available to registered associations, limited companies, foundations, as well as to unregistered associations, action groups and individuals.

The grants awarded by the City of Helsinki to registered associations from 2023 onwards are published as open data. The data also includes grant applicants that were not awarded a grant. The data does not include grants awarded to individuals or unregistered associations and action groups.

The data contains the following information:

• Hakija / Applicant: Name of the registered association applying for a grant
• Hallintokunta / Governing body: Sector(s) concerned by the application
• Hakemustyyppi / Type of application
• Avustuslaji / Type of grant
• Vuosi / Year
• Myönnetty / Grant awarded: Amount of grant (0,00 means that no grant has been awarded)
