City map presentation produced from the MATTI system of Vantaa. It can be zoomed in and out of the entire map of Vantaa to a single plot map. The city map consists of several levels of detail. The most detailed level corresponds in accuracy to the base map of the zoning plan. This level shows buildings, structures, traffic routes, elevations, property boundaries and property names, as well as land and water areas with their names.

At the most distant level, the general map of the whole of Vantaa is shown. At the intermediate levels, map data are presented in proportion to the scale. The use of the areas or the use planned in the land-use plan is shown in colour. On the nearest levels, apartment blocks are shown in brown, detached houses in light brown, employment areas and public building plots in grey and parks and recreation areas in green. At the most open levels, forest areas are also shown in green and fields and meadows in yellow.

Timeliness of data: Changes to the urban map are updated daily for the nearest levels and weekly or as necessary for the other levels.

Note: there is no difference between taustakartta:kaupunkikartta and kaupunkikarttaesitys -layers.
