Answers to the surveys regarding summer and winter maintenance of the City of Helsinki

This data contains anonymized answers to the user satisfaction survey of the city of Helsinki's winter and summer maintenance starting from the winter of 2022-2023. The data was collected by using the Maptionnaire survey program.

The surveys were conducted:

  • Winter 2022-23: 27 February – 20 March 2023
  • Summer 2023: 18 September –15 October 2023
  • Winter 2023-24: 26 February – 18 March 2024

In the survey, the respondents were first asked how satisfied they were with maintenance in general on a scale of 1-4 (1 = dissatisfied, 2 = fairly dissatisfied, 3 = fairly satisfied, 4 = satisfied). After this, the respondents could mark on the map base places where summer or winter maintenance had been well taken care of or could be improved. It was possible to make maximum 20 marks per a question on the map.

The coordinate system is WGS 84 (EPSG:4326).

The data does not contain written answers, respondent IDs and some part of the respondents' background information due to privacy issues.

The summer and winter care user satisfaction surveys are conducted annually.
