Are you keen to have more visibility for your open data applications in Finland? Do you miss Apps4Finland? Have you got an idea you would like to realize and could use some support for your project? Or do you find hackathons more motivating than competitions?

The six largest cities in Finland (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Turku, Tampere and Oulu) would like to have your opinion on whether there still is a need or demand for data application challenges or other similar events. We have not had ‘Finnish open data championships’ since the DataBusiness Challenge. Should we? If yes, what would be the best type of competition, in your opinion? A completely open contest or one with pre-set challenges? What kind of prizes would motivate you to take part?

Fill in this short questionnaire and have your say! If there is enough interest from the open data community, a competition answering your wishes may be organized in the near future. The results of the questionnaire will be summarized on the HRI website.

Questionnaire is open until the end of March 2018.
