Technical descriptions of the service

HRI’s site has been developed in cooperation with the six largest cities in Finland in the “Open Data and Interfaces” project of the 6Aika-cooperation strategy.

The data catalogue (Data and Showcases sections) uses the CKAN platform. Otherwise, the site is implemented with WordPress. The HRI metadata model is based on the DCAT-AP model.

The codebase of the site is open source. It is available on GitHub. Architecture schemas of the service can also be found on GitHub. Further information can be found in the technical documentation of the site.

Privacy protection

Hri.fi is operated by the City of Helsinki. The City is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its online services in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and other applicable legislation.
