Application results for upper secondary schools in Helsinki

Excel file: Results of the joint application of Finnish- and Swedish-language upper secondary schools in Helsinki in 2012-2023. The dataset includes the number of applicants and selected candidates, as well as the entrance limits (lowest average or score limit).

Applicants are those who applied primarily to the upper secondary school in question. Accepted candidates are those accepted in the joint application. The lowest score is the average grade in theoretical subjects, the weighted average or the sum of the average and the selection points.

From 2014 onwards, the data is available from the Vipunen service maintained by the Finnish National Agency for Education.

The statistics of the Vipunen service are updating and the number of selected in them is cumulative, so there may be more selected in the statistics than starting positions. The statistics of Vipunen do not contain information on the number of cancelled starting positions. The Excel file, on the other hand, shows the situation right after the selection run from mid-June.
