Energy consumption in the Helsinki metropolitan area

The dataset contains information on energy consumption in the Helsinki metropolitan area and separately in the cities of the Helsinki metropolitan area by sector (district heating, oil heating, electric heating, consumer electricity, transport, industry and machinery) in 1990 and 2000–2023.

In the case of heating, annual variations in consumption are adjusted using a five-year sliding average, but consumption without adjustment is shown in a separate tab.
