Vantaa City Museum has made its photographic, artefact and archive material as well as its information on cultural environments available under open licence through the Finna service.

There are different layers of Vantaa’s history in Finna: archaeological excavation photographs lead to a long history, while aerial photographs show the city’s change from above. You can also find artefacts and pictures from Håkansböle Manor, treasures of Leonardo da Vilhu, information on the daily life and products of the Silk Factory in Tikkurila, buildings that are no longer part of the cityscape and much more.

All images of Vantaa City Museum published in the Finna service can be freely used, also for commercial purposes. Advertising use requires permission from the people in the photos. Vantaa City Museum and the photographer (if known) must be mentioned in connection with the photo. The photographs displayed on the service are printable high-resolution images.

Materials are constantly added and the service continues to be developed.
