Population of Vantaa contains the most important population data concerning the whole city and its districts. It includes data, for example, on the age and gender structure of the population, native languages, families, households, migration and foreign nationals. The regional comparison section for Uusimaa municipalities is included starting from the turn of the year 2013/2014.

For reasons of data protection, no data other than the total population has been published for areas with fewer than one hundred residents, families or households. These items are marked with two dots (..) in the tables. The same has been done for some sensitive data: if there are too few observations, the items are either marked with two dots or combined with other categories.

The Excel files consists of yearly data, the content of which varies slightly from year to year. In Excel, each statistic is on a separate tab. The date of the statistics has been changed starting from the 2019/2020 dataset. Previously, the statistics were dated to the first day of the year (1 January), while in the latest datasets, they are dated to the last day of the year (31 December).
