The data for the year 2022 originates from the dataset used in the publication Espoo by Areas 2022. The publication itself is available on the City of Espoo’s website at:

The Espoo by Areas publication provides a comprehensive overview of Espoo’s different areas. The most recent report was published in 2024 and contains data from 2022. The report was released as an electronic publication as part of the Reports from Espoo series.
The updated dataset includes figures for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The report compares different areas using indicators such as population structure, employment, housing, and wellbeing. Comparisons are also made with the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, and Kauniainen.
